How are we sustainable:

Here at the crafted way we love using scrap leather which is veg tanned leather. All our earrings are created with sustainable easy to recycle parts and scrap leather. 

We primarily do use veg tanned leather which is better for the environment compared to chrome tanned leather. Veg tanned leather uses natural tanning agents which in turn makes it stronger and more durable. 

By using scrap leather and primarily veg tanned leather it reduces waste as a by product. 

Jewellery:

We love using affordable materials that can be endlessly recycled into new parts. With the use of stainless steel and other metals such as copper along side beautiful precious metals we always recycle what’s possible to recycle. We’ve got a range of systems to enable us to help recycle and reduce waste where possible. 

Fashion items and accessories:

For fashion items and accessories we do our best to keep everything handmade and well made. Also to use materials we know will last longer than five minutes.
